How to use Mpamba: Customers

For customers, dial *444# and the below menu will appear:

 Send MoneyStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 1 Send money, press ok or send

Step 4: Enter account to send moneyand press ok or send

Step 5: Enter  amount of money and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter your reference number and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter your PIN and press ok or Send

Your Transaction details will appear on the screen including your available balance.

 

Send AirtimeSelf Airtime Top Up

 

Step 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 2 “Airtime Top Up” and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 1 “Self top up” and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter amount of airtime required and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your Transaction details will appear on the screen including your available balance.

Other TNM Phone Top Up

Step 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 2 “Airtime Top Up” and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 2 “Other Mobile Airtime Top Up” and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter number of phone to be topped up

Step 6: Enter amount of airtime to be topped up in the other phone and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your Transaction details will appear on the screen including your available balance.

 

 

 

Check BalanceStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 5 “My Account” and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 1 to check balance and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter PIN code & press ok or send

Your balance detail will appear on the menu screen

 

 

Step 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 5 for My Account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 2 to show mini statement and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter  PIN code and press ok or send

Your mini statement details will appear on the menu screen

 

 

Token ManagementStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 4 for token management and press ok or send

Step 4: To Generate Token: Insert recipient’s number and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter amount to be sent and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter reference number and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter  secret code for the token (Note that token secret code must be FOUR characters) and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Step 8: Accepting or rejecting token transaction (When the token transaction is displayed)

  • Select 1 to accept transaction and press ok and send OR 
  • Select 2 to accept transaction and press ok and send

Your confirmed or unconfirmed transaction detail will appear on the menu screen

 

 

pay-billsStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 3 “Pay Bills” and press ok or send

Step 4: Select the biller to be paid

Step 5: Enter your reference number i.e. Account Number and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter amount to be paid and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your Transaction details will appear on the screen including your available balance.

 

 

TransactionStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 5 for My Account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 5 to change PIN and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter current PIN and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter new PIN and press ok or send

Step 7: Confirm new PIN and press ok or send

Your new pin will be changed and press ok or send to exit

 

 

Transactional DetailsStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 5 for My Account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 4 to view transaction details and press ok or send

Step 5: Enter transaction reference and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your transaction detail will be displayed on the menu screen

 

 

Send Account InformationStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 5 “My Account” and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 3 to send account information

Step 5: Enter number that you want to send account information (NOTE: this number must be a 12 digit number for example 265888800800)

Step 6: Insert PIN Code and press ok or send

Your transaction detail will appear on the menu screen

 

 

HelpStep 1: Dial *444#

Step 2: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 3: Select option 5 for My Account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 6 to access Mpamba HELP

TNN Mpamba help number will be displayed on your menu screen
