How to use Mpamba: Agents

For Business, dial *222# and the below menu will appear:

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter Username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 4 for customer services and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 1 for customer registration and press ok or send

Step 6: Dial 1 to register for entry level wallet product

Step 7: Enter first name of customer and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter last name of customer and press ok or send

Step 9: Select ID type of customer and press ok or send

Step 10: Enter ID number and press ok or send

Step 11: Select 1 for English and preferred language and press ok or send

Step 12: Select 2 for Chichewa as preferred language and press ok or send

Step 13: Enter mobile phone number and press ok or send

The customer account will be registered at TNM Mpamba back office. The customer shall receive an SMS of acceptance from TNM MPAMBA with detail of his or her account.

 

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter Username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 4 for money services and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 1 for Cash in and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter account number of customer and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter amount for cash in and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter reference number for cash in and press ok or send

Step 9: Enter PIN and press ok or send

The cash-in transaction detail must be reflected on the agent wallet screen menu as well as the customer

 

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter User name and press ok or send

Step 3: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 4: Select option 2 for Airtime Top Up and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 1 for other mobile phone airtime top up and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter number of phone to be topped up

Step 7: Enter amount of airtime to be topped up in the other phone and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your Transaction details will appear on the screen including your available balance.

 

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter Username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 4 for money services and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 2 for cash out and press ok or send

Step 6: Select account number to cash out and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter amount to be cashed out and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter reference number for cash out and press ok or send

Step 9: Enter PIN and press ok or send

The cash-out transaction detail must be reflected on the agent wallet screen menu as well as the customer

 

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 4: Select option 3 for Pay Bills and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 1 for bill payment and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter your biller account number and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter amount to be paid for the bill payment and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter your reference number for bill payment transaction i.e. Account

Number and press ok or send

Step 9: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your Transaction details will appear on the screen including your available balance

 

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 6 for token management and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 1 to generate token and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter recipient’s number and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter amount to be sent and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter reference number and press ok or send

Step 9: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Step 10: Enter secret code for the token (Note that the token secret code must be FOUR digits) and press ok or send

Step 11: Accepting or rejecting token transaction (When the token transaction is displayed)

  • Select 1 to accept transaction and press ok and send OR 
  • Select 2 to reject transaction and press ok and send

Your confirmed or unconfirmed transaction detail will appear on the menu screen

 

 

This facility enables the agent to redeem tokens at his point of sale for non registered users.

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter Username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 6 for token management and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 2 for token redemption and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter token number to redeem cash token and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter secret code and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Step 9: Select 1 to accept token redemption and press ok or send

Step 10: Select 2 to reject token redemption and press ok or send

The token redemption details must be reflected on the agent menu screen  as well as the customer who is redeeming the token

 

 

Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select account 1 and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 6 for token management and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 3 for sender token redemption and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter token number and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter secret code for the token (Note that token secret code must be FOUR characters) and press ok or send

Step 8: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Step 9: Accepting or rejecting token transaction (When the token transaction is displayed)

  • Select 1 to accept sender token redemption and press ok and send OR
  • Select 2 to reject sender token redemption and press ok and send

Your confirmed of unconfirmed transaction detail will appear on the menu screen

Step 2: Enter Username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 7 for my account and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 1 for check balance and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your electronic value balance must appear on the menu screen

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 7 for my account and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 2 for mini statement and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your mini statement will appear on the menu screen

 

 Step 1: Dial *222#

Step 2: Enter Username and press ok or send

Step 3: Select 1 for account and press ok or send

Step 4: Select 7 for my account and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 3 to send transaction details and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter recipient’s number and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your transaction detail will appear on the menu screen, press ok to exit

Step 4: Select 7 for my account and press ok or send

Step 5: Select 4 to view transaction and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter reference number for the transaction and press ok or send

Step 7: Enter PIN and press ok or send

Your transaction will be viewed on the menu screen. Press ok and exit

Step 5: Select 5 to register pin and press ok or send

Step 6: Enter new PIN and press ok or send
